Typographic Safari

May 2nd, 2010 by Simon

A documentation of the gorgeous typography adorning the historic buildings of Melbourne and elsewhere.

Long forgotten and, often unseen typography that was lovingly crafted upon buildings when sign-writing was still the domain of artisans.

Take the time to look above and beyond the disposable generic shop facades and appreciate the immense beauty of the designs and letter forms.

It was these letter forms that first got me excited about typography.
